SBI Internet Banking, Online Registration and Activation

Hi friends! Do you know How we make SBI Internet? All of you must have heard about Net Banking & Mobile Banking. Through both of these, you can take advantage of banking services sitting at home.

You must have known about the Indian Banking System. Whether you want to do Balance Enquiry or Money Withdrawal, you have to wait in the queue for hours for every work. But, you can save your time through Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.


If you get your Internet Banking Account activated, after that, you can do things like Online Balance Inquiry, Money Transfer, from your computer/mobile app itself. As far as I know, 90% of the people have a bank account in the State Bank of India (SBI).

So today I will tell you how to Activate  SBI Internet Banking online in just a few steps...

Steps to activate SBI Internet banking

  • Visit the official website of SBI (Click here)

  • After that click on New User Registration on the left side Personal Banking section. Now a pop-up will appear in front of you, where you have to do OK.

  • A new window will now open in your Internet Browser, where there will be a form. You can also call it SBI Internet Banking Registration Form.
    In this Online Registration Form, you have to enter your Bank Account Number, CIF Number, Bank Branch Code, Country, Registered Mobile Number, etc. Has to be filled well. You will get all these details from your Bank Account Passbook.

  • Finally, after entering the Captcha Code, click on the Submit Button.
  • Now an OTP (One Time Password) message will come on the registered mobile number from your bank account. There will be some marks on it, you have to put them and click on Confirm.
  • Now understand that your Net Banking Account Registration has been done. Now you get 2 options for activation.
  • The first is from ATM Card, in this process, you just have to enter your ATM Card details and your Net Banking Account will be activated.
  • Another way is Branch Visit. That is, in whatever branch you have a bank account, you can also get your Internet Banking activated by going there.

In the Internet Banking Registration pop-up window, select I have my ATM card and submit.

Now on the next screen, you have to verify your ATM Card. For this a form will open, where you have to click on Proceed after entering your ATM Card Number, Valid Through / Expiry Date, Card Holder's Name, ATM PIN and Captcha Code.

  • On your page, you will get a Temporary Username, which you can change later and keep your Custom Username. It will also come to you through SMS in the registered mobile number from your bank account.
  • Now you have to create your own Login Password. Keep in mind that the password should also contain A-Z, 0-9, and some special characters. eg: Hemant@Net123
  • Whatever you want to keep your password, you have to enter it twice. After that click on Submit Button.

Congratulations! Now your Net Banking Account has been created.
